Language, timezone, and theme

locale controls browser language preferences. timezone uses an IANA timezone identifier. color_scheme accepts light, dark, or no-preference. dark_mode: true is also available for dark preference emulation. A dark preference affects pages that respond to it; it does not recolor every site. Locale and timezone alone do not change your network IP or guarantee geographically restricted content.

Region and proxy

region selects a country-aligned locale/timezone bundle and an expected egress country. A matching network route must already exist, or you must supply a compatible proxy.
Replace the proxy fields with credentials and a public proxy endpoint you operate or are authorized to use. The region selector is not a promise of a managed proxy service. Supported region identifiers: us, ca, gb, ie, de, fr, es, it, nl, sg, au, jp, kr, in, br, mx, za, and ae. verify_egress defaults to true. With a requested region, verification checks the observed country before navigating the target. Verification can fail with egress_unavailable or egress_mismatch. Explicit locale and timezone override the bundle’s corresponding values.

Network destinations

Hosted captures and proxy endpoints must satisfy the public-network policy. Localhost, private networks, and metadata services are not supported capture destinations. Region targeting also does not guarantee passage through access controls or bot challenges; see blocked targets.
